Is “9/11 Gay Dad” the Most Offensive Cartoon Ever?

Comedian Drew Michael re-released an animated video titled “9/11 Gay Dad” on Thursday just in time for the 15th anniversary of September 11, 2001, and possibly winning the race for the most offensive cartoon ever. Co-created with Junior Stopka, the YouTube video says the cartoon is a trailer for an animated series of the same title about a single gay father and his adopted son, Nathan, living in suburban America. The twist is, the gay father isn’t exactly a person- he’s a 9/11, visually represented as twin towers on fire, with a plane crashed into his head. Occasionally a tiny person will jump off the top of his head, plunging presumably to his death. 9/11 also bears a strong resemblance to SpongeBob SquarePants or at least takes style tips from him.
